I expect like many if not everyone the inverter section of the dashboard is showing an update for the firmware.
My question is is it OK to postpone the update for a couple of weeks or so as I am away from home just now? I would rather be there when it updates to observe and if it fails do the necessary to remedy.

Some people appear to have had no problems, but others are having issues which require manual intervention. It seems that Paul decided to prioritise getting this out into the wild, over the testing of the installation process. It's not what I would have done, but given the amount of time/effort he has put into this upgrade, I'm not going to criticise him for that!

I was wondering about doing the same. I only have a single rate tarrif so I never charge my batteries from the grid, only from solar.
King’s coronation has been a grey day today and at 18:50 the batteries have both got down to 4% so we’re on grid energy overnight. So thinking I should kick the install off on a sunny day on the assumption that the battery will do its charging calibration using solar energy rather than grid?
