The AC coupled 3Kw inverter has a single start/finish charge interval. My EDF economy 7 cheap rate tarrif is split into a 2 hour and a 5 hour interval. I would like to use the whole 7 hours of cheap rate for car charging but currently if I were to do this the inverter would discharge the battery during these 2 hours. A second programmable interval would solve the problem. Given that pretty well all timers, from the most sophisticated to plug in timers from ebay have multiple time intervals it is bizarre to me that this product just has the one.
