Hi everyone,
As I'm reading reports that the installer of my system is seeking to go into administration, I wonder what a situation like this would mean for end-users/customers in terms of technical and warranty support?

What is GivEnergy's approach in this situation, whereby an installer's business shuts down? How should customers seek support, would it be with GivEnergy directly?

I'm especially curious about access to Portals or customers' systems as I believe from my own experience installers do have access to customers' set-ups. Can they reset passwords, for instance? The list of questions on such a scenario could go on, especially from a cyber-security perspective e.g. if the data about customers is sold or otherwise mishandled.

Thanks everyone!

Warranty is from GE .
Other than that no help, no different to C&A going bust. you can't return your faulty pants after.

Hopefully GE would terminate the installers logons (or hand them over to whoever the administrator is, if it's going to be kept as a running concern).

Probably one for @TheDragon (GivEnergy) to advise on, believe he's head of test and security or something like that.
