I have seen posts about diverting energy to hot water control etc but personally I would value communication between the GE software and something like smart sockets or I have a heater with built in smart connection via Wi-Fi. The reason is simply that it would be useful to say turn on a panel heater when I was producing surplus solar to supplement my gas heating. You could start fans in a conservatory when the sun came out, or charge a portable power bank, all when surplus solar is available. Just my thoughts!!
