Since the firmware update yesterday to 3012 the batter has now been stuck at 16W and 20% for 16 hours.

There is also no PV generation

Can I get some help, please?

Email the giv energy support. It's a known problem I think (20% is the clue)

Or web chat them.

Or if you are lucky ... @TheDragon (GivEnergy) ...

ChrisAS also pop your inverter serial number on this thread! So if Paul does see this post he can sort it quickly.

I had this problem too, and @TheDragon (GivEnergy) sorted it out for me.

I think he reset all the registers to 0, something to do with the beta firmware, and all was well again after.

ChrisAS Your discharge power was set at 0W.

I have moved it to 2600W same as the charge.
When the power is set to 0W it cannot discharge

A previous Play /Pause caused this

Update...

I've had a webchat with GivEnergy as suggested and things have progressed very efficiently

Me- I advised that I was stuck at 20%

Giv - Has the green breaker switch on your battery tripped? It seems as though your charge and discharge power had been reduced. one of my colleagues has reset this for you.

Me - Thanks - I am now discharging and exporting but still no PV

Giv confirmed - While the system is discharging the hybrid inverter switches the PV off to prevent large amounts of grid export. The PV will return when the battery begins to charge.

I'll confirm when all is working correctly

TheDragon (GivEnergy) Is this something the end user is setting? Or a tiny bug in the process?

ChrisAS Giv confirmed - While the system is discharging the hybrid inverter switches the PV off to prevent large amounts of grid export. The PV will return when the battery begins to charge.

Incidentally, I have evidence of this not happening on my hybrid during calibration discharge.

Phil_H might depend on your export limit perhaps?

TX200 3.6Hybrid so I'm on a G98 as it can only put out 3.6 to AC in total. I had occasions where during the discharge it actually started putting some back into the battery because the PV alone saturated the AC capacity!

It looks like the system is working again as expected...

Gen 4.4kW
Consuming 304W
Charging 2.4kW
Exporting 1.5kW

Thanks for all your assistance today @TheDragon (GivEnergy) and others TX200
