Bi Directional Meter

Hi guys, I'm in a bit of a dilemma here,
During April 2022 I had a new 3.5 hybrid Inverter with an 8.2k/w battery to my existing array from 2012 and the original generation meter was left in
I'm currently on a Feed In Tariff which I have to submit quarterly readings. The last quarter readings were contested by my FIT Provider as having doubled compared with previous years and on checking they're correct. They asked if I had a Bi-directional meter fitted (which I didn't know) as the readings from the original meter could become distorted when I download from the grid.
I contacted the installers who kept me waiting for over 3 months before they sent someone around to assess the problem. Apparantly an EM115 was fitted within the original PV's system fuse box which was never explained to me.
I've looked at the different screens from the EM115 but am confused as to which reading i need to submit to my FIT Provider, or do I continue with the old meter which is still in place?

Thank you so much for your help, I read all of the posts which offer a number of solutions which are way above my head :-)
but it's something I can pass over to my installers who are also scratching their heads.

STEVEPERRY I think basically you need a bi directional meter installed between your new inverter and the mains.

So it can monitor the import and export of the electricity from the inverter aka battery and solar.

The meter needs to be able to show import and export from the inverter and the net difference.

But it's a very complicated thing changing components that were on FIT. The FIT people (supplier and ofgem I think) might refuse to pay any more generation if changes are made.

Usually they allow like for like changes say it a component failed. But it is very hard to be sure what you are doing will be accepted by them.

So treat all of the above and other thread advice as best intentions, no guarantee you'll get something they agree to, but fingers crossed and good luck!
