If I were to go on holiday for a week or two, is it advisable to set the battery to only charge up to a maximum of 50% in order to maintain battery health? Having the battery sit at 100% for two weeks seems like it will have a detrimental effect on it (such as degradation). If I'm not at home to use it then not much point in charging it to 100% and any excess solar can just export to the grid.

Someone might correct me on this, but I think they're LiFePO4 batteries - and according to a quick Google search you don't need to worry about the battery being damaged if left idle for a few weeks.
Personally I leave my system on - as fridges, Freeview boxes and alarms etc are still drawing power.
I'd probably knock my overnight charge percentage down a bit, to make more room for solar topups, but otherwise not worry about it.
