Pausing of charge to battery

I have a hybrid car and have recently installed a battery. The battery charges up well from my solar panels but when I plug the car into its charger it does not start charging as it did before. I have been told that I need to pause the battery being charged so the solar energy goes to the car?
How do I pause the battery being charged and
Once the battery is at 100% will the energy from the solar panels then charge the car?

DavidBaker you can pause the battery from the app, there should be a circle at the bottom centre with a play/pause/plus/minus symbol - if not go to Settings > Preferences > toggle on Show Quick Settings Button. Then you can set your car charging.

As for the excess generated once the battery is charged, then it depends on your charger. Zappi can be set to see the exported energy and divert it to the car, not sure about others.
