API causing inverter to switch to "Unknown Three-Phase AC Coupled"

Since the evening of 18th May my inverter was acting strange by saying the house was using more than 2KW of power which only happens when I boil the kettle - normal house usage is between 200 & 400W. It was also showing 200w of house usage when boiling a kettle.

Took a while to work out that the inverter had reset to a 3 phase option rather than single phase.

I am using the API to integrate with Octopus so I set a charge when the price falls below a set amount but have had to disable it due to it forcing the inverter to change. I have been using this API call for the past 4 months without issue so wanted to see if anyone else has come across an issue in the past few days?

There is a known issue right now with the Portal not letting people setting AC charge times. I suspect (given that the Octopus Scheduler does the same thing using API) that this is related to your issues (although they don’t say what problems it causes I’m guessing you’ve just found out!)

hoggy Where are you seeing this "known issue" as I don't see it on any status pages?

it was on 1 of the 6 billion Givenergy Facebook groups from a Givenergy employee, I forget which.
I never saw the status page change either nor anything on the portal known issues - I suspect they are distracted at Fully Charged Live (Norf!) trade show.
