System: 3 x 5.2KW batteries, Inverter, 8.5KW solar array and 2 x Solax 5KW inverters.
System working great in eco mode breaking even taking into account SEG payments. I have built my own control panel for utilising the heating element (3KW) on out hot water tank but am struggling to find a way of triggering the system taking into account current usage plus charging batteries etc.. does anybody have any suggestions?

Home Assistant, it can be used to control just about ANY smart device
AndrewRoberts As @Graham_Harrison says, Home Assistant would be a good choice if you're into tinkering with wifi devices and setting up your own automations. If that's not your bag, then check out an Eddi or similar solar diverters. They're not cheap, but removes the grind of building your own home automation system.
I have an Eddi which I use with assistance from an automation set in Home Assistant. I previously used a Solar iBoost+
I have an old Optimersion diverter from pre-battery days. This works fine in conjunction with the battery.
Whatever you use, put the export current sense clamp on the grid side of the Henley block, not the house side, else hot water will take priority over battery charge.
