Scheduled battery discharge issues (Octopus Flux)

I've been on Outgoing Octopus, with my inverter set to dynamically discharge my dc coupled battery. This has worked well, balancing the battery output throughout the day. I've just (as of yesterday) switched to Octopus Flux. Obviously the big benefit of this is the high export rate between 4pm and 7pm, and I have set the battery discharge mode to do a full export between those times. This worked fine today, the battery discharging from 100% to 29% during that period. However I've since noticed that the battery has since just sat there at '0 W' in/out, and when we put the oven on, a full 6kw was drawn from the grid, nothing from the battery. If I switched the 'quick settings' in the app to 'discharge now' the battery jumped into action and it was roughly 50-50 between grid and battery. When I switched back to 'resume' the battery went back to '0 W' again. On the face of it I suppose it's all doing what its supposed to do, and there doesn't appear to be a way of setting the battery to work dynamically outside of the set full export period. I've also noticed that the 'ECO' inverter setting in the web portal is no longer set - obviously because the dynamic discharge has been removed. Am I missing something please? Another setting? It seems pointless having the battery sat there with remaining charge not being used!
EDIT: Apologies, I've found some other posts regarding this issue so should have looked first! But has anyone come up with a fix please?

If you set a timed discharge the system turns Eco off, and then will import from the grid when the discharge is finished.

As far as I am aware the only way to get it to work as most people would expect is to turn off Eco, then turn on timed discharge when you want it to start discharging and then set an alarm to remind you to turn timed discharge off and turn eco back on. I have only ever done this in the Web portal as I have found whenever I use the app to change any settings it can lead to the system needing to reset back to default settings (have not tried using the app to change settings for some time so may not be a problem now).

I tried to set this up using scheduler in Octopus R&D.
Timed import and then set back to Eco works.
Timed discharge and back to Eco does not work for me.
I am now on timed import 02:00-05:00 with Eco rest of time.
I am trying to make this work before Autumn with Home Assistant but hopefully a GE inverter firmware that fixes this will come out soon.
