Can I trigger Calibration?

Rogerbu
not without ringing GE. it is not a user selectable option.
What would a calibration do over and above discharging the battery down to empty then filling it up ? Do these have to be done at a particular rate, for example ?

Its only purpose is to record the capacity of the cells. without changing settings the batteries will discharge and charge at the full rate the attached inverter can manage.
It is possible to change this via the inverter settings if desired.
DD A normal discharge and charge will bump into the user limits of 15% at the bottom and 5% at the top. A calibration will ignore the user limits and allow the battery to discharge down to the minimum voltage the battery can get to safely and then charge to the maximum voltage. Once the battery has been pushed to these limits, the firmware reintroduces the user limits for normal operation.
