Octopus energy reports my usage for Feb as 569 kWh
For the same time period GE Portal reports my grid import as 400 kWh
Thats a huge discrepancy. Why is this? The Octopus value will be the correct one, so why is the portal out by a factor of >40%?
Look at the Grid In option on the energy graph. That will give you the GE monitor number for grid to home and grid to battery combined.
Of course! Easy when you know how!
That gives me 533kWh. Still out by 36 kWh but that's only a 7% variance. Good enough for the girls that I go with! ;-)
My variance is slightly larger, between 8 and 9%.
There's always one that brags that theirs is bigger than everyone elses..... 🤣
