On the app, when I click the panels icon to see what has been generated so far today, it tells me it was last updated an hour ago (always an hour behind). On the PC, the time is fine and it tells me I've generated an hour's worth more than the app.
Is there something I can do to update the App time?

Portal | Account Settings | Synch InverterTime

I tried that before I posted but the time on the App on phone still says, for example just now: "Last Updated 2023-06-08-13:54" and the Solar Generation figure is from an hour ago not now.

Mine says similar. I know my account is in the right time zone (GMT not GMT+1) and that it has synced to the inverter ok.
I think it's just it doesn't update all the time.
If you want the most recent data, look at the meter tab in the web portal (my inverter page).

same here, says it updates at 30 min intervals but is always an hour at least behind

It is summer at the moment so common time in the UK is GMT +1, (BST) British Summer Time. There are several "+1" entries in the list including "(UTC+01:00 Greenwich Mean Time (London)". I selected this one and the problem went away. Whether this will remain sync'd when the dark nights cometh, we can but wait and see.

For me I have found the web based portal considerably more up to date than the app when it comes to running totals (generated/imported/exported), even when connected to the same WiFi network as the inverter.
The app is currently showing that we have exported 1.76kWh with a last updated time of just over an hour ago whereas the portal shows 5.10kWh - a vast difference given our system is only 2.34kWp. I also don't think the export figure in the app has budged for some hours, despite it being quite a sunny day and the figures on the portal increasing.
The app usually catches up at the end of the day but I am at a loss to explain the difference beyond caching.

pwdst my app is also an hour behind and the energy totals can often be four or more hours behind yet sometimes they are only 30 minutes adrift

I have similar experience and also since upgrade to latest app its lost data on 8 days in June so far. Its always at least 4 hours behind. Yesterday I have data up to 5pm and then nothing. It starts again as midnight ticks over and that data is then lost. So the reports and the app are understating actual values. This only started happening since the app was updated early in June.
