Getting paid double flux rate?

Asking for a friend....seriously.....it looks like he is getting paid double bubble....can anyone explain why this might be??

Can't see the problem ... oh a discrepancy between the Givenergy report data and what Octopus got from the smart meter. I think the report data is known to be inaccurate.

I'd use the meter data on the inverter data page - on my system the figures are usually very close to the Smart meter/Octopus values (within .1kWh).

Ra the export in the top graph is measured by the CT clamp that goes to the inverter, check it's connected correctly, fully clipped together and not loose.
The bottom graph is from Octopus reading the smart meter, as long as everything else seems ok that's the one to go off

The reason I think it is a problem is that he has a 4.1kW array which as far as I know isn't capable of producing that much energy throughout the day. I've got a 4.5kW array and the most I've ever done in one day is nearly 30kWh

Ra that ties in with his totals (5.13 + 3.95 + 19.24). Get him to speak to Octopus to check it, if they find out eventually he'll have a lot to pay back at that rate

Cdent Thats also what I thought. He has checked the meter itself and the totals seem to tally roughly with what the GivEnergy portal is suggesting. Its just that Octopus are doing something with the value their end!

Ra I've got a 4kw array and the most I've done so far in a single day is 29.89kwh. Expecting that to hit close to 31kwh based on weather reports and daylight hrs in the coming week... longest day is 21st June.

Anomnomnomaly Thats pretty good. As I said, I've got a 4.5kW array but temperature always seems to be quite high when the sun is out for ages causing generation to drop off :/

5.6kW array here (5kW inverter) and can only manager 36kWh on the best day

Ra Where is your inverter and battery located? Mine is in the garage on the North side of the house, which is always much cooler.

I'd also add that my array is only a few degrees of due South... and even after 7pm at the moment am getting over 1kw of generation. It does tend to drop of quickly after that. But will at least be covering the house until around 8pm and the 5.2kwh battery is lasting until 3am on avg.

My friend has contacted Octopus, they're looking into it apparently but nothing obvious going on....
