Generation 3 Overvoltage Throttling Problem

We’ve had our installation for just over a week and it’s generated a lot of power but when the voltage on one string gets to 500V it basically shuts both strings down by cutting the current on both strings either to zero or to a very low value. PPV is effectively 0. This happens mostly between noon and about 4pm.
I believe this is a known issue, but is there a date for a firmware update that fixes it?
Is the fix under beta testing yet?

ThePud Wasn't aware of the issue on gen 3, but in theory yes it is fixable by firmware. Have you raised this with support? MAX voltages per mppt on gen 3 is 550v so are under that.

Saw this once on my gen 2 last week (11 x425W Trina Vertex S on one string). Power cut to zero when string voltage hit 500V. I thought it might be related to our high grid voltage, though. 909 firmware.

THALL The installer has raised it and been told it is a known fault that will be fixed at the next firmware update. Hence my question about when that will be. My system doesn’t get anywhere near 550V before it throttles, and when it does it sometimes shuts down both strings regardless of the voltage on the other one, so there is definitely something wrong. This is a snippet from today.
