It is a 8.2kWh battery on 3012 firmware, connected to GIvE Hy5.
Should I be worried about this?

rio911 it can still happen in the right conditions, but is a lot less than it used to be.
If you dont allow the in built self calibrate to run, this can eventually happen, eg remain over 50% for days on end, the routines all run in the lower half, under 20% or under 40%
next BMS has managed to widen this to 80%, feel free to reach out if you want to try a beta of it
Then would you say that it is beneficial to have a discharge- charge cycle, similar to calibration? Say once a month?
Because of the summer and high PV generation, the battery will not experience low soc for months....

I am seeing the issue on my system today it has dropped to 0% SoC. This is the second time it has happened (previously on 21/0623) after installing the 3012 firmware and the following battery calibration on 15/06/23.
As an aside, I do seem to be suffering from high grid voltage which seems to make the system behave oddly at times. The grid voltage went up to 257v just before the battery SoC went to zero. The voltage situation has been reported to the DNO and I am waiting for them to fit a monitor next week.

You don't, it does it on its own, when the opportunity comes around. If the opportunity cant happen, then 3013 coming soon can give more chance.
Or cycle down to under 20% once in a while and let it idle
TheDragon (GivEnergy) that is not true. I cycle my battery daily from 100% to 20% and often lower and I have experienced multiple soc drops since the upgrade.

Depends on your definition of idle. Between 23:00 and 6:00 energy consumption goes down to 150-200W. Plenty of time for the system to catch up
I think that you have to put the batteries into idle by pressing Pause in the app.

I believe the newer inverter firmware will allow soc correction during low usage as well as when idle (when under 50% full if I recall correctly).
Plus they're testing correction of the soc at up to 80% charge now as well.
Everything is moving in the right direction, especially since Paul joined GE.
I've had my system since November 21, and up until April this year had not had any problems. The AC3 and 8.2 battery developed the "Click of Death" and the battery as unusable....
Report to GE and told 4 weeks for an engineer visit. " months later the engineer finally arrives and system fixed, updated to latest firmware and calibrated. All good...
Since then I've been getting Large SOC drops every 2 to 3 days..
Why is this happening?
If it's the battery recalculating the actual SOC when idle, then it's not doing a very good job if it only lasts a couple of days.
Or is it something else?
