Discrepancy between Dashboard energy usage and inverter energy usage graphs

Hi,

I have a system which was installed earlier this week (GIV-HY3.6 with a 9.5kWh battery). Naturally I've been poking around all the dashboards and graphs. I have found a discrepancy which I don't understand.

The system was installed on Tuesday and therefore spent most of Tuesday afternoon charging the battery from the grid. The "My Inverter" graph shows this - I can see it pulling a sustained 2.5kW from the grid for a few hours, which is exactly what I would expect.

However, in the main dashboard, looking at the Energy Graph card, it only shows 1.8kWh from Grid to Home. This looks clearly wrong to me.

Any thoughts or advice? Thanks!

Chris.

that was the battery discharging fully before starting to recharge and calibrate

Gird to Home is import required to run your house (lights, oven, kettle etc) as your battery was (probably) doing a calibration run and charging from the grid you need to look at the grid to battery report as well. If you change the 'Home' filter to 'Grid In' it will show you where all grid import went.

Got it! Yes, I see now. The dashboard card for the energy use only shows what the home itself is using, so doesn't include energy from grid (or solar) to the battery. Makes sense now, thank you!
