Had solar for 7 yrs and just got batteries. Calibrated on day of installation all OK, then 1 week later calibrated again dumps battery load and charges for 6 hours at prime rate!
Can you pick times to calibrate? Also just trying to find the best schedule. What have I done wrong as my battery also seems to discharge to the grid and I don't understand why it would. Thanks.

Go on the portal.
My Inverter panel.
Go to Settings
Reset to defaults
Enable ECO Mode
Enable timed charge and set your charge period to your low tariff period.

See how you go from there.

calibration is kicked off by Givenergy Support - you can't trigger yourself.

afaik they can't do a timed calibration but I have found them helpful with starting it at (say) end of their working day.

joj As @Tim Adams said, there's nothing you can do to schedule the start, but you can alter the charge rate (even down to zero) so that it only charges up once you've got some PV going spare. Similarly, you can reduce the discharge rate so that it takes all night to discharge, thereby feeding the house with a small export.
