Apologies if I am being a bit slow, but is it possible to configure multiple Smart Tariffs into the GivEnergy Portal? I have Octopus Go & a SEG with Scottishpower. Or do I have to configure a 'manual' Smart Tariff?

Hey Tim Adams, didn't think you could be on Octopus Go & their export tariff at teh same time?

Unless something has changed I think you can only be on Octopus SEG 4.1p/kwh if you are on Go.

ahhh... you're probably right. I was a bit quick and flippant......
May need to run your numbers on best tariff and combination as everyone is different.

In my case Octopus Tracker import and Standard export are best. All depends on usage & exports over entire year... whether you have batteries... ashp... ev... and ability to time-shift usage etc

Currently on Go Faster till end of month, but will probably try intelligent. Attempting to switch to switch to Scottish power SEG for 12p export so will see

Also trying this but their weird rules on exporting from battery storage may block this!

InternetKing whats the rule about exporting from battery? i thought that was the whole plan of forced timed discharge, ie deplete your battery upto whatever percentage that can take you thru the night

deepanshus According to https://www.smartme.co.uk/export.html
"Most suppliers do not pay for export from batteries (known as brown energy) and therefore require proof that the battery export will not be measured by the export meter. It is upto each supplier whether they include brown energy or not."
Octopus allows brown energy.
