Is anything happening to integrate the GE Smart Plugs into the website portal, rather than only the app?
Is there an intention to further integrate plugs within the app (currently it's a "bit on the side" making e.g. combined producer/consumer graphs quite difficult)?
Sorry to jump in on the tail of your question (which very much interests me too by the way) but I would also like to see a desktop widget for the phone app so that I can toggle plugs on and off more easily if that's possible.
Any news on something like this happening, or just better integration in general?
Heck, I'd like a ssh, http, telnet, whatever, access method. I don't do smart speakers, I like to use my mobile telephone for telephone messages and I like my computers to be able to control things themselves...
I very much suspect that there is nothing to ssh into on the plugs: I expect the plugs have very minimal MCU abilities indeed. Reverse engineering the UDP packet protocol is probably the only way.
