Anyone on EDF EV Tariff?

Is there anyone out there on this tariff? Do you have a meter that shows both the time of use registers and time of use tariffs? Do you have an IHD showing the meter data correctly? Do you have a glow IHD and is it providing the data correctly over MQTT?

You may surmise that all of the above isn't working for us. We are really happy with the GoElectric tariff which expires in April 24, but home assistant isn't getting the full set of data over MQTT. We've just changed from the time of use tariff to the non-ToU tariff in the hope that it will overwrite the meter registers so we can get them to put it back later in the year when we need to charge overnight. EDF says ours is a complex metering tariff (really?) but I don't think it's any different from Economy 7 although the rates are significantly different.

Any feedback from any EDF customer on a time of use tariff and whether they're getting their data correctly would be appreciated.

No time of use tarriff here. But they can't even remotely read their own installed smets-2 meters export data. And are showing little evidence of doing anything about it. So, i suspect they have known issues with their meters and/or processing capability that they aren't advertising. Good luck.

we've edf goelectric the only way of knowing what tarrif your on is via the IHD but that only shows the tariff your using at the time of looking so you need to look twice a day, during the day and during the night and then you'll know.
as for how much your charging up, that is just added to IHD in the cost per hour, just see what it says before and after chanrging starts to check how much your using to do it.
we don't have a timer controlling the charging, we use the car to start and stop as required by its settings, which we have set to 10pm to 7am week days and all week end for our cheap rates, if we want to charge during the day we have to tell the car to charge "now" when we have enough power from the solar panels.

JohnDory Thanks for replying. I assume you're on GoElectric98? Thanks for clarifying that the tariff only displays the current rate rather than both rates. Does your meter show the tariff rates (p/kWh) for ToU1 and ToU2?

You don't happen to have a Glow dongle do you? Our dongle local MQTT data stream shows total import and export, both of which are incrementing real-time and also instantaneous power (+ve for import and -ve for export), but not the separate ToU register values nor the ToU rates. Now that you've said, I could check whether it changes the rate real-time too, but I'll have to wait until we change back to GoElectric35 in the autumn. For now, they haven't been able to change the settings on the meter. They said it can take up to 10 days!

no sorry, the IHD only shows what tariff your actually using at the time, the energy hub has never worked for me with edf, they claim to be working on it but it doesn't look like it.
they are very slow.
