Home dashboard not working

My Home dashboard isn’t linking at the moment but the Away one is okay. Any ideas why? This started happening yesterday.

Collie_dogs If you know how to check the IP address of the inverter and what Ip address the app is looking for. If 'away' is working the inverter is connected. Check the ip addresses in your router or download something like FING to map your network for you. Both the app device and the inverter need to be on the same subnet (i.e. both ip addresses should start with the same three number groups). If that is the case go into your settings in the app for 'local monitoring' and make sure the app is looking for the correct inverter IP address.

If the two are on different subnets then they are not connected through the same wifi ssid.

Did a Scan for my inverter. Took a few attempts but it finally found it. Home is now up and running again!

cluelesscris they don't need to be on the same SSID though, my inverter is on a separate 2.4Ghz network used only for IoT devices, and my phones and tablets are on a 5Ghz network, completely different names

Cdent Yes, that will happen with the default settings for most provider routers. Some routers will provide a 'guest' WiFi with seperate SSID and subnet. This secures your network from visitors. Also, anyone with IOT devices should consider isolating them on thier own wifi and subnet and blocking external access. There's way too many bots out there probing everything looking for a way in.
