Bad for battery to be left and kept at 100 percent while away?

If going away from the house for, say, a week or two, so that only a little background power is consumed by the house ... and the weather is likely to be sunny enough for the system to effectively keep the house battery at 100 percent, ... is this harmful to the battery? And if so what to do. Can one just turn the whole system off, or just isolate the battery. And a consequent possibly stupid question, what about the energy from the solar array in these circumstances ...

why not build in a peak time export and sell it and make some money as well as cycling it?

Could give it away, especially if it is harm to battery not to, is it? Can’t sell it because I’ve been on waiting list for a smart meter for 18 months. Have moved to Octopus who may be able to fit one in a month or so …

It’s not harmful to the battery as far as I’m aware. It’s not the same type of battery you get in Laptops etc where this would be an issue.

For most of the kit it’s a LFP I believe. Although the new AIO devices have a different battery.

What about turning eco mode off and set a minimum level on the battery. Then all export should go to the grid and he battery is kept well. Obviously this doesn't help with not being paid for export.

It will be fine, it will drop a little over night, top up during the day. Wont harm it, no need to change anything :-)

Firstly, the batteries are larger than the indicated size as there is a buffer built in. So an indicated 100% isn't truly 100%.
Secondly they are LFP batteries that have no issue with being held at 100%.

You are overthinking it. Enjoy your week away...the batteries will be absolutely fine.

I don't know what kit you have. I have gen1 hy 5.0.
I tried both timed export and timed discharge using GE portal settings which work but I could never get it to go back to Eco after.
I then tried Octo R&D scheduler and had same issue.
Now on Home Assistant that can do lots of things and works well on timed import and timed export for me.
