Gen 1 AC3.0 Firmware - whats the latest

Have to say I'm thoroughly confused - my serial number starts CE2031 - are we getting new firmware like everyone else or are these inverters EOL for firmware updates?

Yes there should be firmware updates for the AC3 Gen1. There's some in test at the moment. Once tests signed off, then yes, it'll be rolled out. They've done Gen3 first, then Gen2, then Gen1.

NB. There is a different issue for Gen1 Hybrids (some of the older ones may need a hardware change/engineer visit). Mentioning this for completeness and to avoid any confusion with stuff seen elsewhere. It's not relevant to your system if it's an AC connected one (rather than a hybrid model!)

TX200 How do we identify which generation of the AC3 we have?
My portal just says:

Inverter Model
GIV-AC3.0
Software Version
D0.535-A0.535

AC3 have no restrictions on Firmware updates.

There are still a couple of small issues with the final beta. Work is still in progress, on AC3 and Gen1 release

TheDragon (GivEnergy) and then hopefully the master/slave version for those of us with plants?
