Any idea as to why the temperature reading keeps dropping to 0 on my battery?

Probably a comms issue. Either the data cable from the inverter to battery is loose or more likely the connection to the internet was a bit flaky at that time.

TX200 Thanks. hopefully just our internet connection as its been awful lately

Fridgeman when I queried such screens with GE support, as I getting random downspikes at different times on temperature, voltage and current I was told it was a known graphic issue with the software what they use within the app and the developers knew the issue and looking at ways to resolve

I doubt the issue is internet. I had a similar issue, and Giv sent an engineer to change the bms module in both my 9.5s. Still have the issue. So, in short i doubt Giv actually know. Reqlity is, i dont think it matters. What is the purpose of measuring the temperature? Does it drive/control anything, or just for intrest?

Anecdotally the BMS is quite busy at times, such as when it’s doing it’s OCV checks, and either doesn’t respond in time or ignores the request - I often see mine do the same while the battery is idle, much less so when it’s actually doing something.

I also get these random "drop outs" on battery temperature, yet everything else (SOC, voltage) is fine, so I can't see it being an internet drop out. App glitch sounds more likely to me.

System working fine, so not stressing over it.
