AIO Does not stop discharging when told to

Needed to charge my car last night and this will drain the AIO battery as it is a visible load. This is how I want it to act. I did not want to drain the AIO battery charging so tried to stop the battery discharging by using the 'Quick Settings' buttons in the app, pressing the 'pause' button. This did not work and the AIO battery was discharged to my car. I tried several times to stop discharge, both in the app and the web portal but to no avail.

This morning, I made an experiment with the kettle. I pressed the pause button in the app, looked in 'remote control' in the portal and can see charge & discharge being set to 0, boiled the kettle and the app shows the battery discharging. So I set the 'Quick Settings' to play and see that charge & discharge reset back to 6000 in remote control of the portal. I then went into battery settings on the app and set discharge to 0 (zero) and saved it. Again remote control shows discharge set to zero, boil the kettle and the battery is discharging.

Why is the battery NOT responding to the commands to pause discharge?

Will wait for the fix. In the meantime if I rinse my battery charging the car would you recommend then mains charging the battery to, say, over 20% to protect from low SoC overnight? This situation is likely to occur for me while solar is low / nothing.

luckypants if the AIO and car are charging together, they wont cross contaminate. This is what i do with mine.

I also noticed that the "pause" function doesn't work, nether does the app take any notice of any discharge rate setting.
From other posts the AIO may ignore the maximum charge level too.

The charge and time settings work, so my work around for cheap rate car charging is...

Managed to charge the car on off peak without discharging battery.

change charge mode from solar only to solar and grid.
set times 0030 - 0430
reduce charge rate to very low (or higher if no sun forecast)
battery will not discharge during scheduled charge times.
of course if car finished at say 0300, the battery will continue charging at rate set until 0430, when it revert to normal, supplying the house demand. (it sees the zappi as house demand, normally, so would discharge into car)

TheDragon (GivEnergy) Do you have a timescale to resolve this issue or a standard fault fix SLA? I'm just wondering if I should keep checking here or leave it for x months?

I'd second this, only that it would be nice to know if this will be fixed before the install. :

I have used the pause function today after charging the battery to 100% in case of power cut in the storm. It appears to now work? I'm drawing from the grid instead of the battery to make up shortfall from solar.

@TheDragon (GivEnergy) has this been fixed in the app or behind the scenes? (my android app version is V3.3.1.5064)

Further observation, seems not working as expected.

After being paused, I used play to put back to default operation. This worked OK and the battery started discharging. I then used the Pause again, but this had no effect and the battery continued to discharge. Pressed the charge quick setting and discharge stopped, pressing pause again discharge was stopped.

I guess not fixed and the pause button has no effect and remains in previously set status?

it was fixed in a firmware update to the Inverter. will now be at 608/608
