Has anyone managed to do that? Is that even possible? I can see there's a tile for EV Charger in the dashboard, but have no idea whether that's just for the GivEnergy charger?
Integrating Zappi EV Charger with GivEnergy dashboard
It's just for the long-awaited GE charger.
NickMelis As Zakalwe says its just for the long awaited GivEnergy charger - they do exist I'm reliably informed but not yet publically. 🙁
Its a shame that other chargers can't be integrated - the Zappi claims it supports OCPP - which is meant to be a standard interface/protocol I assume.
But you can integrate the GE battery into the myEnergi app 👍
Unless something changes pretty soon, I will have to go for the untethered Zappi as that is slated for operation with OI from September (The earliest my EV is due) - the only other charger I can get on the scheme that works with OI is the Ohm Pro - and there is no integration available into HA - and even then, the cable will be too short,
kram talk to us a bit more about that.
anglefire unteathered? Any reason why?

kram
Yes the my energy app shows the battery charging or discharging and at what rate but does not have access to the SOC (state of charge %) as far as i know anyway.
positor1 can you share how you did this ?

I also have a harvey (my energy wirless ct clamp sender) but it can be done without.
the devices ( harvi / zappi) can have three ct clamps attached so you just add one to the battery ac feed and label it "battery" clearly this is only possible with an AC3 inverter not a hybrid. Its one of the deciding factors for me when deciding between hybrid and AC3
positor1 ahhh ok, I’ve got a hybrid setup so it’s as I assumed it can’t be done :

There is such a lot of conflicting info on here until you realise the differences between the two types, most people fail to advertise to what they are referring which is why including your set up as a badge like mine and others can help a lot.

positor1 there was a link to new updated forum posted briefly then vanished again which does allow signatures to hopefully make this less of a problem. No idea when that's coming though.
Roberto yes the distance from the likely location of the charger is about 10m from where my car will be parked most of the time - two other cars in front of it on the drive. I don’t want to play butterflies everytime I want to charge the car and go out in the morning.
On average I will only need to charge 2 or perhaps 3 times a week. But Sod’s Law it will be early morning when I have to shuffle!
Oh and another car is on the road too. And one in the garage.
