Today was dark and rainy, and so my battery was supplying most of the power from overnight charge. It was discharging at a rate which would have meant it would not have capacity to cover the peak period (on Octopus Agile). So I charged it up again and scheduled it to discharge on ‘home demand’ consumption during the peak hours.
However, instead of just discharging on home demand, it sent all the power back to the grid before the end of the peak period. This suggests that the ‘home demand’ setting is not working correctly…?
It would be great if there was an option to combine ‘scheduled’ and ‘dynamic’ discharge modes, so the battery would supply for demand but reserve a specified percentage of the battery for a scheduled period.
