So there are a few negative posts about bad installs and another about an SoC drop.

Question I have for those who have one. Are these oddities, are there teething problems which have been resolved or is this a wider issue? I’m hoping it’s a reliable platform, but as always mixed messages don’t give confidence.

The only issue I had, was the commissioning, couldn't get past the firmware stage, which had to be over ridden by Givenegry tech support remotely, which in itself was a bit of a process, understand was a new product so technical was still learning too!

The other small thing, is the Pause function and discharge settings appear not to take effect.

Having said that, the charge modes (solar or solar/grid) work perfectly, as does setting the maximum charge rate, along with a battery charging schedule. Meaning between the Zappi & AIO both can be set to charge at a specific level during the off peak hours, without discharging battery into the car.

I'd advise using an LAN set up if possible, again faultless on that side with accessing data from either app/PC dashboard.

That’s positive and good to hear.
In terms of the SoC you’ve not seen any drops or rises in your use of it?

Nope SOC have behaved as expected for the 5 weeks so far.

This is yesterday with a 5.5kwh charge to the car, 1.5kwh charge to battery during off peak hours (Go Tarrif).
Then using Zappi on eco, so 1.4kwh charge to car during the day.
