Forum Integration

Could we have it so the logon for the dashboard is the same as this forum?
If I'm logged into that, I can come straight here without a second sign up?

I wanted to open this up to non GivEnergy customers. If I limited to GivEnergy accounts that would exclude all those people that want insight before making decisions.

So there was a clear trade off between single sign-on and audiance participation

We can combine the accounts, but not yet. I needed to get this up and running as soon as I could. Introducing SAML tokens is quite tricky, and the process of which account gets set up first ( forum then GivEnergy, or GivEnergy then forum ) makes the logic a bit tricky. But it will come, sometime.

I know thats not ideal, but most peole also use password managers in browsers etc so in reality not so much of an issue. I get straigh into the site via that mechanism. I also know not everyone uses those ( before someone shouts ).

In true Agile fashion I decided the MVP ( minimum viable product ) was a seperate account as the value of the forum outweighed delays in getting it perfect.. Also in agile fashion, expect continuous changes to this platform as new features are added. I have a backlog for this as well as the beta portal
