I’ve just changed to Flux and tried setting the battery to charge at the cheaper rate between 2-5 last night. This morning my smart meter was recording in the dark red!

What have I done wrong!

That looks like it's correct. ie you have drawn power from the good overnight to charge your battery.

Yes, but it’s meant to be at the cheap rate but the smart meter is telling me otherwise.

Collie_dogs When I had a new smart meter in home display installed I specifically asked the installer if it would reflect the pricing for the cheap overnight hours (I'm on Octopus Go) and he categorically said yes. However, this isn't the case though as I've since checked with Octopus and although the amount of electricity used is shown correctly, the pricing calculation doesn't take in to account the cheap rate...very frustrating.

Thanks, that would make sense.

I’ll have to check the calculations when they come through.
