I've just ordered a system and after discussion with the installer the best place for the battery in my property is going to be in my bin store. This is on the north side of the house so it should be ok in the summer. However, I was talking to somebody else and they said that you have to be careful to stop the battery charging if the temperature drops below freezing?
Is this something I need to worry about? According to the spec it is IP65 compliant and has operating temp down to -20.
Any thoughts?

I believe the battery will protect itself in very low temperatures. No need for user intervention. But still you should check with GIvenergy themselves to be 100% certain. Just email support or use the chat facility.

Mine is in my bin shed, north side. Under cover. No issues

THALL Thanks for that. That's reassuring, I'm fairly new to this but learning a lot.
