Sudden drop in battery % this morning

I thought Battery Firmware 3013 was supposed to stop these sudden drops. My battery dropped from 34% @0622 to 0% @0627 this morning.

And a jump on charging 96-100% 1309-1314.

Might just be correcting itself at max and min SoCs.

Mine did that after going to 3013, been perfect ever since, very well behaved.

I've had the same issue, downloaded the firmware last night when it discharged it dropped from 30% -0% then when charging jumped from 73% to 100%. It has only charged 6kwh in a 8.2kwh battery.

I have contacted givenergy but their claiming it could be the DCMCB connectors and to contact the installer but this issue has literally happened after the firmware update.

if the Soc is jumping up and down in the same cycle, that is fir sure not a BMS issue, is the voltage rising and falling sharply too? Is so, loose connection should be investigated ASAP

TheDragon (GivEnergy) Not sure if the voltage is rising and falling sharply, it was a slightly more rapid fall than during the calibration discharge on the 9th. It did take nearly 9kWh to fully charge (8.2kWh battery) which is similar to the calibration charge.

Not quite as extreme, mine dropped from 34% to 20% quickly around 8am today with no load, in fact exporting due to the solar generation. Battery and system installed on the 4th of August.

I’m having a similar issue with a new 9.5kWh battery.

In the first calibration it dropped from 46% to 0% over 5 mins, then jumped from 47% to 100% over 5 minutes during calibration charging. On the first regular charge it went from 46% to 100% over 5 mins, and then on the second calibration it dropped from 52% to 0% over five minutes.

The battery only seems to be working at about half capacity.

I often get this on BMS 3013.
