If I updated the inverter firmware and limit my EV charger (Zappi) to a maximum output that matches the maximum discharge rate of the battery (2.6 kw) does that mean it Wong be dumped to the grid?
Using power dumped from battery during calibration.

Thatsaboutit You just put the Zappi in ECO+ mode with 100% MGL and whatever is destined for export (up to the 7.3kW limit of the Zappi) will be consumed during discharge.
