Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows of a solution.

I've recently had my octopus flux tariff go live and I'm trying to setup octopus labs to automate my exporting. When I try to add a device, I select Givenergy API V1 then on the next screen I input my givenergy username and password and an API key I generated explicitly for Octopus labs. Every time I hit confirm on the brand authentication window I get the following error.

I should add, I can access my system remotely through the givenergy app no trouble at all so I would assume it's not a communication issue

read some other recent posts, there is it seems a problem at Octo's site

logged over on Octopus Forum but no movement. Have you tried emailing them yet?
This is a beta R&D labs system that we’re delighted to invite you to try. As an R&D system please request help via agile@octopus.energy not our main hello address and nor via phone.

The more that do, the more chance of getting it fixed quicker.

Yeah I've emailed them, no response as yet. I'll update this post as soon as I hear anything. I'll check out that forum post and add my frustrations to the list, also

Thanks, I did try a search on this forum and couldn't see any recent posts relevant to my search terms. I fully accept that my ignorance may have resulted in less than useful search results, I'm still very new to all this.

An update from Octopus:

Hi all,
We’ve figured out the issue with GivEnergy (change to their auth on their API) so we will have an update on the R&D system shortly.
Sorry this has taken us a while to figure out.

FYI - This is now resolved and working again (for me anyway)

Still not working for me - unless I'm doing something wrong?
I've removed the Inverter and tried to add it afresh (having generated new API Token) but still get the unable to receive data error

Ryggwelter in the GE portal, when you generated a new token did you tick every box when it asks you which bits you want to give access to via the API key?

Thanks - yes it now works if you give 'full control over everything' i.e. tick all the boxes. Doesn't work if you limit access to Inverter only. I tried this in the early days but not recently :-) Not ideal to give full access but then no different to how it was previously.
