Yesterday my inverter started turning itself off and on again, consistently, every few minutes. Safety concerns aside it’s resulted in a spike in grid energy usage. I can’t find this issue on the internet anywhere. I’ve reached out to GivEnergy but unsure on their response times. Tried to upload a video of it happening here but it wasn’t having it.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what it could be?
Steve0898 if you go into the portal > inverter > remote control (cog in top right) and then scroll down to the logs does is say "Restart" a bunch of times (about every 5 mins) fromt he server?
If so its likely a FW update failure and its got stuck in a loop. Speak to support and they should be able to stop the constant reboot commands being sent to it.
Thanks! GE have literally just emailed me back saying they think it might be an error making my system think that the firmware is still trying to update. They’re speaking to dev team and will get back to me.

I'm also seeing the same on mine - restarting every 2 minutes due to automatic firmware update. Emailed support - hopefully it's an easy fix for them 🙂
Same happened to me. Thankfully my firewall blocked the requests so the inverter didn't restart.
I know it’s not much but these bugs and firmware updates (full discharge and charge) is costing me money 😂
this is happening to mine also. Think its the Last EON battery update
I checked the logs on mine and it started happening about 1.30pm on 23rd august and just been doing every two minutes since 🙄 hopefully they’ll fix it soon
