App feature request - ability to schedule battery pauses

I have a GE hybrid setup with 5kw of PV and an 8.2kwh battery, and I’ve now just had a Zappi charger installed for our new EV Two days in and the system is working as designed, but I have the std problem with a hybrid system that the house battery is getting dumped into the EV whenever I set a full rate charge. I want to be able to use time of use overnight charging during winter months, and there are some options for requiring slightly I am investigating with my installer, but in the meantime I am experimenting with pausing battery discharge on a schedule that matches the EV charging times.

In theory this should work fine, but the first test is tonight. Assuming it does I will continue with this strategy in the medium term, but that will mean changing the pause times to match charge times on a regular basis. It would be really good if pause times could be added to the battery setting section of the app, as this would be much simpler and quicker to sync up with the charge times than having to go into the battery section of the inverter settings on the portal. MTB what you can do in the givenergy scheduling is limited. You may need to look at remote scheduling like Octopus R&D, wonderwatt or home assistant which is what I and many others on here use

MTB instead of a Pause, set an overnight AC Charge to coincide with your off-peak period and a target of less than 100%. Better still,automate the SoC target and leave it to do its thing.

I believe you can configure the GE charging rate, so one option is to set the charging target to be 100%, but at a minimal charging rate so that, in practise, it is more or less equivalent to pausing. But if you are on the IO tariff, it's a bit harder because there can be additional charging slots outside of the fixed overnight period.

Depending on the wiring, one option is to tap off the power to the zappi before the CT clamp for the GivEnery system, so that that inverter is unaware of the power the Zappi is drawing. (But the Zappi can still be configure to use any excess export if its CT clamp is in the right place.)
