So this morning the App says cannot find home connections, "Away" shown no live data, and no data since circa 1800 yesterday. The App toolbar shows my AIO serial number then says LOST besides it.
The Web Portal looks like it is stuck - shows solar/consumption figures but they are fixed not changing, and shows battery at 51% (which it was yesterday evening). Unable to do anything, change settings etc as says offline.
Had no internet issues, the system is hard wired and the ports are live (show connected at switch).

Has anyone experienced similar? Suggestions on what to do? System glitch that will rectify itself, or do I need to do something?

treborUK Call your installer or Givenergy and ask them to have a look.

I have the same problem stopped working 12 hours ago. The All in one battery unit has lost connection my LAN is OK but no connection to the unit.
I am waiting for GivEnergy and the installer to return my call.
I have tried restarting the router
Changing the antenna to the All In One
Resetting the WIFI on the AIO
Still no joy.

I'm considering hard wiring the AIO to my router to see if that solves the problem.

SteveCz I've been wondering about what the best way to connect my AIO to the internet is - as I too have been having outages with the portal not reporting numbers. I have a LAN cable that is installed alongside AC cables - so wondered if that was the issue. Currently using a LAN cable that is separate to the AC cable run to see if I have better luck. I have heard another comment on here that they see better reliability with WiFi. Am hoping this can be improved with a future firmware update - as I have Shelly IoT devices that push data to the web - that have never missed a beat in years of operation.

Usually - a full power cycle of the AIO (blue button press, switches battery breaker off, then isolator off) fixes up the LAN dropping.

Interestingly - was away on hols for a week - so unable to hard reset - but the data started flowing again with no intervention after circa 14 hours...

You need DIP switch changes if you decide to use LAN vs WiFi.

I've contacted my installer. They need to re-commission the system anyway because only the AIO has been showing in the web portal, and not the Gateway. GivEnergy had confirmed that they cannot see the Gateway on their end either, and that I should get my installer to re-commission the system.
My installer is going to look into it and see if they can get on the GivEnergy system to recommission it remotely or whether the offline issue needs to be sorted and they need to come out to the system.

I'm having the same behaviour, I can browse to the IP of the inverter just fine but the app (Android) refuses to connect. I've opened a ticket about it

My issue was resolved yesterday.
My installer with support from GivEnergy got the Gateway commissioned into the system remotely.
To resolve the comms issue I was advised to power down the AIO inverter with the button press for 3 secs, reset my broadband router then power the AIO back up. When it had completed its startup cycle I gave it a few minutes then checked the portal - the Gateway and the AIO were showing. All seems to be working correctly now.

Have to say that I've been impressed with how responsive GivEnergy have been via the support email.

treborUK Can you advise a newby. Where is this button you kept pressed? Also you mention a support email do you have the email address?
Pete.

Pete G Round button on the side of the All In One unit, to the right hand side of the breakers. It powers down the inverter section after a 3-5 sec hold and release - you'll still see the blue lights on the front of the unit. You hear various relay/switching clicks as it powers down. I left it off for a few mins whilst I rebooted the broadband router and made sure that was all back up before I re-powered (simple press and let go to power) and it took a couple of mins to start. Then waited a few more mins and checked the portal and it was back online.

If you go to Feedback in the portal and Leave Feedback you'll see the options to leave feedback through a form, email or call them.

Almost exactly the same as treborUK. If you have the gateway installed there are a couple more steps.
I could see my AIO and gateway were connected in the devices list of my router, but there was a problem with communication to the cloud application and my phone app.
I was advised to power down and power up (turn it off and on again)

1) in the gateway turn off the bypass and the AIO switch to off (up)
2) on the AIO switch the push button to power off (no light), then throw the breaker under the transparent cover.
3) wait a minute.
4) then work backwards through the steps above, except leave the bypass off until the whole system has restarted.

This re-established the communications and has been working for 2 days with no issues.

Same AIO lost comms issue. Comms stopped 9 hours ago. I tried the blue GIV button on the side of the AIO a couple of times and rebooted Home router but nothing doing. Then I went; blue button long press release, it goes out and relays open. I then switched the two breakers under the cover. I then shut off at the isolator. Waited a minute and reversed the sequence. Success, now back online.
I did not switch off the gateway as suggested above. For one the bypass switch had a cover over it to prevent unauthorised persons switching it and another, the AIO was already in the up position!
