Old Portal Removal 28th March 2022

Hello everyone,

We have decided that in 2 weeks time, the legacy portal will go down and all links taking you to the old portal will now be redirected to the beta portal (which will become the standardised portal). At most, this process will take over an hour to manage so please do expect downtime. Please await for that announcement as we more accurately determine what time this will happen.

We will be looking to finalise features that customers have been asking for in the meantime including the reports. But otherwise, any new feature requests and updates will be provided in this new portal at https://www.givenergy.cloud (currently the old portal). Apologies for those that enjoyed using the old portal, the old portal will be missed!

Would you be willing to migrate some of the Community stats across (the ones shown on the old portal login page) & perhaps add a few more if your feeling generous?
I do quite like seeing them increment although suspect i'm the only one!

One other thing, many of the older APIs use the key from the OLD portal. These are not (as far as i'm aware) interchangeable with the new style keys the Beta Portal is capable of generating?
How is this being migrated (is it being migrated?) or will this signal the end of the Legacy API's including the Battery Beta API aswell?

I should disclose that anyone using the battery api via api.givenergy.cloud will have these battery APIs available and anyone using www.givenergy.cloud/GivManage/api will have these API routes still intact for the time being. However because of internal restructuring, we cannot be keeping these APIs available in the future

With the removal of the Legacy portal, our installer/technical access to a majority of our installed sites has been reduced and we now do not have permissions to access these sites for calibrations etc. Our customers and ourselves are finding this incredibly frustrating and we cannot seem to work out why we have access to some sites but not others.
We have tried support emails and have not heard anything back can you shed some light?

I can't help much (I'm not an installer) but I believe from seeing a few posts that the option for Calibration has been pulled from both installers, End Users & even the API with no reason given so I don't think this is specific just to you.

hoggy We can still calibrate on sites we have permissions for however we have lost permissions for about 60% of our nearly 400 installs, not great.

I'm a new user. On the legacy dashboard I can get a really useful graphic depiction of what has been happening over the course of the day. I cannot find its equivalent in your current dashboard. Is the legacy view going to disappear? if so, how do I get a graphic image in the new dashboard please?
