Getting maximum discharge from battery

Is it possible to set the system so that the power needed to run the house in the evening comes entirely from the battery until the battery runs down to a minimum, before we start taking energy from the grid?
Currently we are taking 3.45kW from our battery which is on 51% and importing 2.45kW from the grid.
I would rather not import from the grid unless I have to.

If you are drawing more than 3kW at any time then the extra will have to be taken from the grid. ie. Oven + Tumble Dryer

Jacqui If you select the "Inverter" icon, then along the top row "SETTINGS" then within settings select "BATTERY" you can see the current maximum charge and discharge rates and adjust them downwards from 3600W. The absolute maximum in both cases is 3600W on a Gen3 hybrid and as far as I am aware the GE inverter can only deliver up to 5kW AC to the house, so anything above that must come from the grid no matter how much you have stored or are generating. The only exception is that the inverter can supply 5kW AC to the house as well as 3600W DC to charge the battery if your PV arrays can support 8600W. This is why reducing the charge to the battery until the solar generation reaches those levels optimises usage. Otherwise the battery will be charged from within the 5kW limit, so you can't use or export that power. Hope that makes sense! There's obviously a bit of loss from the inverter process, but in round numbers these are the maxima.
