I have two 5.2kwh batteries which were installed 3 weeks ago and have charged fully and discharged fully several times now, but however the batteries still only read 99% and 94% full. The front page of the app says 100%. How is this, my maths says 97% tops. Is this normal, or can i do anything to improve this.
lee371 I have 5.2kWh too. So far the front page percentage never compares well with the individual percentages and certainly not an average of the individual batteries states. Also, the secondary battery always lags behind the primary sometimes by 10%. I have kind of learned to live with it as the system trucks along well enough.
If the differential gets worse or more marked I will give Givenergy a call.
lee371 the batteries have a 5% buffer at the top to stop them reaching 100%. When you see 100% on the main page, it should mean the batteries are at 95% ish. When you have 2 it will average(not sure the exact method to calculate). As long as your two batteries are around the same voltage don't worry about Percent difference to much.
