Pod Point

I'm new to this so seeking advice, I have a Pod Point charger which is set to charge the car on an overnight tariff, I have the batteries on Solar and Grid mode so I can take advantage of the off peak tariff, my question is does the Pod Point still charge at maximum if the discharge mode for the inverter is set to 'Dynamic' mode or should it be set to scheduled with a start and finish time during the day, my concern is does the pod point charge from the grid at night or does it take some from the batteries.

I have a Pod Point too. It is scheduled to charge the EV during the cheap overnight tariff period. My AC3 inverter is on Solar & Grid setting with charge scheduled for the same times. If the state of charge (SOC) of the battery is above the 'charge up to' level, the Pod Pojnt draws that first. If the SOC is at or below the 'charge up to' value, then the Pod Point draws only from the grid and the home battery is maintained at or charged up to the 'charge up to' value. I have a Zappi as well, and both EV chargers and the home battery are all able to fully exploit the off peak rate. Hope this helps.

A previous post said that you cannot add a pod point charger to the GivEnergy app.
Is it still true and if not how do you add one in?

Motormad48 I don't know, but I can't think why one proprietary vendor should add support for a competitor's proprietary and competing product

Was it just distinguishing energy use in the logging that you were hoping for, or actual control/interaction?
