Mixing modes

Is it possible to run the inverter in eco mode and also have a timed export running concurrently? Does this play nicely together?

Unfortunately if you turn on timed export, eco turns off automatically and the battery will be idle so you'll be pulling only from solar and grid at other times. I've tried counteracting this with timed discharge at other times but it won't accept it.

Guzz Yes, it would be great if this could happen. I also assumed it would work like the smart charge option, which would make it viable for peak export tariffs. I currently have the export timer set for all day and then use the battery modes to toggle between eco and export, to minimise any grid usage. I set the timer on my Iphone for the relevant times.
This is an area I believe Givenergy are looking at improving 👍

GE dont provide that via the portal, but you can do it via the cloud APIs if you can use those or local GivTCP

Seye yea that's the reply I got from them but not everyone has the knowledge to do such things so one can only hope they offer local control and more advanced settings to everyone in the future.
