Hello!!
Has anyone fitted a small scale wind turbine to a 3.6 hybrid to one of the string connections inside the inverter. I've spoken to Givenergy and they say it will be ok but just wondered if anyone has done this yet

Lots of people have asked the question about it... I've not seen one thats confirmed working as such yet (not without a separate inverter / battery for it) - I've been kinda interested in the same idea, being near the coast we constantly get battered by the wind so something that could just do tick over / top up overnight would be very useful - wouldn't need to be huge amounts.

Not strictly related to the OP's question but....
In general the main problem with micro generation wind turbines in anywhere other than isolated areas is turbulence.
They're unusable in pretty much all UK urban/suburban/village areas because they require relatively smooth airflow, not gusts between/over nearby buildings etc. They generally have exceptionally short lifespans where people have attempted this.
Not worth it unless you have maybe half an acre of land with no trees IMHO.
