Hi, Is there any way to factory reset the password of the inbuilt wifi on a gen 3 inverter?
TIA

There is a guide on the KB site, link below, but not sure if it works for inbuilt WiFi.

Doesn't seem to be any other guides on the KB site (tried searching for gen3 WiFi)

Maybe @TheDragon (GivEnergy) could prod his hardware colleagues and ask them to upload the relevant guide if this doesn't cover it.

Thanks TX200 ,
A quick call to GE support pointed me in the right direction.
There is a reset button next to the dip switches, press it for >15 seconds and it factory resets the internal wifi module.
Go off and make a cup of tea for 15 minutes while it goes through its paces and then follow the sheet you linked to above.
Unfortunately I can't upload an image showing the button.

Eco-Me did you have to unscrew and remove the front panel for the inverter and did you have to power it down first?

Sorry for the delayed reply.
Yes, remove the 2 screws from the front bottom cover, the dark grey bit. (hex or torx .. i cant remember now) The screws are on the bottom of the inverter. The cover is quite tight to remove but a but some firm jiggling gets it off. There is no need to power down the inverter to do this.
