ChrisAB plenty of automations already doing this very well... why wait?

Mainly because I'm lazy and I'd like to minimse the amount of work I need to do to make things happen. I can set up multiple other systems of course, but that involves me actually buying and setting up other things.
For me the more that's built into a system the better it is - of course if the system isn't any good after I've tested it then I'll go and get other things, but ATM I'm keen to understand how this is progressing.
ChrisAB it's been talked about on and off for at least 18 months. It won't sell more product or fix a critical bug. Ask again in 2 years!
ChrisAB Think all the people in the Beta have to sign an NDA, So short of one of the GE staff saying something i think you might have to wait.
ChrisAB I haven't tried it in real anger yet but Wonder watt looks as if it will meet my very basic needs. [https://community.givenergy.cloud/d/2557-wonder-watt-only-set-discharge-no-charge](https://)
and it costs you nothing to try.
I've kept a track of its performance against the Solcast forecast and Wonder watt can be quite a bit less optimistic regarding the next day's generation level, but I 'think' it will do what I want it to do. Mid next month I'll maybe have a better idea when I let it properly loose on overnight charging in anger. (My fixed tariff is coming to an end and I'm switching to an Eco7 tariff.)
