I've had to top up my batteries for the first time since early July and this will be a regular thing as the sun drops further. Once the batteries have reached the target charge limit it still uses the grid until the end of the set charge slot, which is the expected behaviour.
Is there any way of dynamically ending the charge slot once the charge target has been met ?
Northwarks are you on an off peak / peak split tariff?
If yes, why would you want to use cheap electric from the battery (that is lossy with the AC to DC to AC conversions) during the cheap rate period?
Wouldn't it be better to save what is in the battery till the peak rate starts?
