AIO+Gateway Behaviour When Power Cut in Storm

With Storm Agnes heading my way, I'm charging my AIO to 100% using the Quick Settings buttons in the app. I intend to leave it in charging status until the storm passes. My understanding is, should the grid power go out, the AIO will immediately take up the slack at this point even though it is set to charge.

Can anyone confirm my understanding is correct.

In theory that is exactly what is should do.
