What is the typical response time for raising issues through the feedback please? I have raised a number of bugs & a complaint through feedback and heard nothing for 3 weeks.
Response to raising bugs & feedback
Peter-C My experience is no response to any of the bugs or feature requests I raised through the app in 8 months. Maybe there’s a 9 months backlog and I will hear something next month? I’ll let you know …
No chance. They've been trying for 2 years to sort the SOC drop out. Tons of features have been promised and not delivered, nevermind known bugs.

Facebook or this forum are the best places to raise issues. If you search for the bug you have found you’ll find (probably) that it’s been found before. There is a huge bug list and thedragonGivEnergy responds in both places. He is fairly new in the job and has made a big difference in coordinating the responses.
Judith sorry I don’t agree
The dragon is great and has been very supportive with inverter and battery issues, but he’s not a replacement for GivEnergy support. This forum is a community forum so help is from other GivEnergy customers, but again we are not product support.
GivEnergy unfortunately don’t play an active role in this forum, look at the number of AIO issues reported and with zero GivEnergy input on them.
And the mechanism for publishing bugs and feature requests via the app is also ignored.
I do like the products I have but support is poor.

I don’t disagree Geoffrey. Support is minimal and although Paul has made a positive difference it’s far from at a good level
Yes, this is a community forum. If you want support, email support, phone support or web chat support.
Other users can help to an extent. But to get proper support you need a ticket!
Or you can contact your installer as another option.
(Not going to comment on how good the phone/email/chat support is - mixed reviews I guess - but given the growth in the sector due to various factors, I guess some growing pains).
Bugs I'm seeing on the web site/app revolve around totally illogical values being displayed. Either :-
- The amount of energy consumed often exceeds the amount generated by several kW
- The amount exported maxes out at 1.6kW and I know using the smart meter data that is way under what is reported to the energy supplier (it reports the excess as if consumed by the house which I know is incorrect). Can be up to 4x out so not a small error - I know you can have slight differences but not this much. This manifests itself on the Dashboard (top row) and Energy Graph (at least they are both consistently wrong by similar extents :-) )
- Figures reported by the App and web site (when both reading local data) are inconsistent (again by large amounts)
